SIS
Companies around the world understand that two strong pillars of success regardless of industry are cooperation and standards. Developing and establishing standards is the core business of the Swedish Standards Institute (SIS), an institute that works in close cooperation with businesses, organizations, researchers and authorities in Sweden and abroad. Every year nearly 2,000 new standards are being adopted in Sweden and thanks to SIS, organizations are informed and compliant .
A major part of SIS's work is conducted through the web and it is therefore of utmost importance that customers are able to easily find their way through the sometimes extensive and complex information. To deal with this challenge, SIS uses the experience and technology of their key partner - Adeptic Technology. Since 2007 the cooperation between SIS and Adeptic has steadily expanded and now covers several parts of SIS's core business. The webpage SIS.se, the online shop ("e-nav") and customer service "Materialnyckeln" are just a few of the highlights of this successful cooperation.
Thanks to Adeptic, SIS benefits from the AESS state-of-the-art fuzzy search algorithm which finds the best possible match independent of spelling errors, incomplete terms or imprecise search phrases. A customer specific set of business rules is applied on every search channel, which ensures that the most relevant result will be found.
“What I like about Adeptic is that they are responsive to our needs, and they are quick to present solutions to complicated problems. I'm impressed with their experience and their software AESS, which presents relevant results with lightning speed and accuracy which get better all the time since Adeptic is learning from the user.”, says Måns Diedrich, webmaster of SIS.
Måns found Adeptic Technologies in an article in 2007 in the Swedish newspaper "Dagens Industri". In Måns´s words, "After a challenging competition with global and well established companies, Adeptic won the job tender because of their keen interest in SIS's business model and because of their ambition to create a tailored solution".
We at Adeptic look forward to continuing the excellent cooperation with Måns and his team.
