AESS employs our state-of-the-art fuzzy search algorithm, providing optimum search results. It simply finds the best possible match despite spelling errors, incomplete or imprecise search phrases. The algorithm utilizes a so called depth parameter which defines the conceptual fuzzy distance between the input search phrase and the result set. The larger the depth value, the larger the number of returned similar items. The threshold is set to a proper value depending on the specific type of application. A large value is set when it is important to retrieve most relevant data. The value is lowered when only items very close to the input search string are desired. A flexible application programming interface guarantees easy integration to enterprise information repositories.
